C. J. Watson Joins Former Teammates With Chicago Bulls
C. J. Watson, veteran point guard, was traded to the
Chicago Bulls in a deal with the Golden State Warriors. The deal was a
part of a sign-and-trade agreement that will reunite C. J. Watson with
his former Utah Jazz Teammates.
C. J Watson formerly played for the Utah Jazz with Carlos Boozer and Kyle Korver, who have both signed on with the Chicago Bulls for the 2010-11 NBA season. C.J. Watson, who averaged 10.3 points and 2.8 assists per game this past season, will have the chance to start but will more than likely be a back-up to Bulls star Derrek Rose. The Chicago Bulls gave up a 2nd round draft pick in 2011. With the addition of Watson's former teammates and Ronnie Brewer, C.J. Watson becomes the fourth addition to the Chicago Bulls Roster this off-season. Watson turned down a three-year, $12.5 million deal with Boston last week to join Chicago. "They've had some success, but I feel like this team hasn't really scratched the surface of the success that we'll have in the future," Watson said.
What team are you cheering for in the upcoming year? Are you on the Miami bandwagon, or are you riding with the Lakers?
