Lou Dobbs Moving To Fox News Channel?

Lou Dobbs just quit a near 30 year run on CNN. Here's the transcript of Lou Dobb's final announcement on CNN:
This will be my last broadcast here on CNN, where I have worked for most of the past 30 years and where I have many friends and colleagues whom I admire deeply and respect greatly.I'm the last of the original anchors here on CNN, and I'm proud to have had the privilege of helping to build the world's first news network. I am grateful for the many opportunities that CNN has given me over these many years, I've tried to reciprocate with the full measure of my ability and my energy. Over the past six months, it's become increasingly clear that strong winds of change have begun buffeting this country and affecting all of us. And some leaders in media, politics and business have been urging me to go beyond the role here at CNN and to engage in constructive problem-solving, as well as to contribute positively to a better understanding of the great issues of our day. And to continue to do so in the most honest and direct language possible. I've talked extensively with Jonathan Klein; Jon's the president of CNN, and as a result of those talks, Jon and I have agreed to a release from my contract that will enable me to pursue new opportunities. At this point, I'm considering a number of options and directions and I assure you I will let you know when I set my course. I truly believe that the major issues of our time include the growth of our middle class, the creation of more jobs, health care, immigration policy, the environment, climate change, and our military involvement, of course, in Afghanistan and Iraq. But each of those issues is in my opinion informed by our capacity to demonstrate strong resilience of our now weakened capitalist economy and demonstrate the political will to overcome the lack of true representation in Washington, D.C. I believe these to be profoundly critically important issues and I will continue to strive to deal honestly and straightforwardly with those issues in the future. Unfortunately, these issues are now defined in the public arena by partisanship and ideology rather than by rigorous empirical thought and forthright analysis and discussion. I'll be working diligently to change that as best I can. And, as for the important work of restoring inspiration to our great free society and our market economy, I will strive as well to be a leader in that national conversation. It's been my great honor to work with each and every person at this wonderful network. I will be eternally grateful to CNN, to Ted Turner, and to all of my colleagues and friends and, of course, to you at home. I thank you and may God bless you. The news continues for the rest of this hour. I'll be back right after the break.
Looks like he's headed over to O'Reilly, huh?

Sammy Sosa Finally Admits To His Obsession With White Skin
Sammy Sosa finally gave in to the critics who happened to notice his overnight race change! After enough people called him out for using bleaching cream, skin lightening or SOMETHING, he had his agent release this press release:
I use a cream to keep my skin smooth and soft. I apply it before I go to bed. When I was playing for Chicago all those years, I was in the sun a lot for 1 o’clock games,” said Sosa, who turns 41 tomorrow. “The flashes (from the cameras) also made my skin look lighter. I’m surprised with the controversy this has caused.”Sosa, who would not tell Dandrades the name of the cream he uses, did say that it is European and that he is in negotiations to market the product. He added that he wears colored contact lenses because he wanted to “try something different. I’m not trying to be superficial.” Asked by Dandrades if Sosa was trying to be like Jackson, the 1998 NL MVP laughed. “Not at all, I respect him very much,” said Sosa, who gave the interview at his Miami penthouse apartment on Monday. “I’m not a racist. I’m not like that. I’m just a happy person."
Sammy Sosa... you get the Ed Lover sign right now C'MON SON!!

Wale Has a "Love" Thing For Solange
Wale is on the cover of the Honey Magazine November e-issue and openly talks about his affection and admiration for Solange amongst other things. But we'll focus on his affection for Beyonce's baby sis. This is what he had to say,
I do love her,” he admits of Solange, flashing a Cheshire. “We’re friends. She’s amazing. She’s a good person. Any single mother contributing to society the way she does — I got a lot of love for them. She’s got to do a lot on her own and raise a young black man in this day and age, so my hat goes off to her. She’s definitely an anomaly. And the way she can do that and manage to do the same things that I complain about having to do.”
His affection is as obvious as a set of flushed cheeks. And impossibly adorable. Wale, the former mixtape rapper from inner city DC, is borderline giddy. “Did you interview Solange about me?” Wale asks. He’s sprawled across his bed; head practically buried in the pillow. “Did she smile when you mentioned my name?”
Even if he's referring to his love for Solange as a friend, it's refreshing to have an artist be open to his real emotions. When asked about relationships:
“It’s about the intangibles in 2010,” he says. “The superficial shit is cool – like, yeah she can fuck, or she got a big butt. That’s the x factor. We’re not going to have sex 24/7 so we need to be friends. I want a girl who you could hijack all her extra artificial cosmetics for a week and not even notice. Somebody who’s smart and can stimulate me mentally because when you on the road it’s not like you can look at ‘em or touch ‘em. I can’t stand girls who don’t challenge their intellect. It don’t hurt if she can sing a little bit.”
Sounds like he's still talking about Solange. Check out the man of the hour perform "Pretty Girls" on Jimmy Fallon. I'm digging this track.

Katt Williams Addresses Kidnapping, Burglary & Jewelry Allegations

A few hours after Katt Williams was released from prison, he found himself in a one-on-one interview where he could completely tell his side of the story, without media misinterpreting his statements and looking like a bad guy. In this interview, Katt Williams discusses the alleged kidnapping, stealing $3500 worth of jewelry and the burglary charge. Here's the gist of what he had to say:
On stealing $3500 worth of jewelryI did not steal when I was homeless, If I did not steal when I was starving, then I certainly will not steal $3,500 worth of jewelry, while you are wearing $250,000 worth of jewelry. They misunderstood. They thought that I was an average typical negro. I am no such a thing. I don’t talk like it. I don’t act like it. I don’t walk like it and I don’t hang with people that do. I am special. Now, If they want to convince me that I am not special than that’s fine. This time last year they put me in Rikers Island on trespassing charges in New York and then they put me in a mental institution following that. Me! Katt Williams. And here I am another Thanksgiving being prosecuted again. Now if there is some crime that I committed then I will be locked up but if not you are assaulting someone that shouldn’t be assaulted and I think you are picking on the wrong one.”
On Kidnapping a 17 yr old I have sons, I don’t need to kidnap children. If you are 17 years old and I don’t let you leave it’s probably for a valid reason. It’s probably because you don’t have any money and you are away from home and you don’t have anywhere to go. So someone should pay for your ticket and wait for your mother to show up. That’s how grown people do business. That’s why his mother allowed him to be with me for a month working with no supervision because I am trustworthy. There are things I will NOT do.
On Rumors They said I was bankrupt. The same day they said I was bankrupt I got a check for “Pimpin Pimpin” for 1.4 million dollars. I haven’t cashed it. I still got it! Then last week “Katt Williams Pimpadelic sold 1.6 million dollars. I’m trying to figure out how a n*gga with 3 million dollars is stealing $3500 worth of jewelry in Coweta County GA, while he rides around in a Bentley. I don’t understand it.
Can't you just see the stand-up special right now? Oh this is gonna be hella funny!
