National Coalition For Men To Rihanna: "Woman Up" Over Chris Brown Charges
Rihanna may have Oprah on her side but Chris Brown has NCFM or The National Coalition For Men! I know, it's not a fair comparison but this coalition has written a lengthy letter concerning the double standard for domestic violence. In the letter they quote reports stating that Rihanna's violence on Chris Brown amongst other general statistics of violence against men. While the group does not condone Chris's actions, they believe it should be a fair playing field because domestic violence is any form is wrong! We'll see if this catches any steam..here's a snippet. The rest after the jump!
According to court records and other sources, Rihanna struck Brown in the face “numerous times” before Brown assaulted her (’http://news.ninemsn.com.au/entertainment/768865/rihanna-hit-chris-brow…’). NCFM purports although that would not justify his more severe assault, her violence should not be ignored, and if she does not “woman up” to it then her message will be the usual one-sided double standards that leave female perpetration covered up.

Mariah Carey Can Relate To Rihanna's Abusive Situation With Her Own
"I was very sequestered, as you know, when I first started out, and if I were just allowed to be young and with a young boyfriend who's also a star and you know, you're working and you're both — I don't know what goes on," she said. "I wasn't really allowed out of the house, so I can't imagine what she went through." King asked Carey why it was hard to get out of the relationship in which she was allegedly being emotionally and mentally abused. "Well, it's scary," she answered. "If someone — I mean, there's other things and other times in my life and things that I will eventually talk about when I write my book. And people that have — like, nobody in my family or anything like that, but just certain things that also make me identify with 'Precious,' the movie."
And you know one thing... Nick Cannon better not lay a FINGER on Mariah Carey.
