Somaya Reece aka Joe Budden's New Jumpoff Defends Her Man

Joe Budden's new girlfriend, Somaya Reece, has broken her silence on Tahiry Jose by speaking up for the rapper's former lover and defending her against the public's negative judgment.
In addition to Tahiry, Somaya also discussed the heat she has already received from being with the outspoken rapper."The hatred is pretty much always the same thing," she explained in an interview. "Either they think I'm trying to gain some sort of career-obviously they don't know who I am, because I was already doing it. I have accomplished everything on my own without an agent or any help. And then his ex-girlfriend [Tahiry], there's the comparisons, 'Oh you're hotter' or 'You're nothing' or 'His ex-girlfriend's prettier.' And that's really unfortunate that other people are more obsessed about that than he is or I am...I don't know anything about her. I think it's wrong that everyone is judging her, as well. She had to have been a good person for him to have been with her and I think she's beautiful. I've seen pictures of her. People move on, now everyone else needs to move on."
"Don't worry because there's nothing to worry about," Reece said during a Budden blogcast. "And I know the feeling because I'm an artist too, when you're going through something, it does reflect on your music. But there's no need to worry about that anymore. Somaya Reece is in the building...Regardless though, with music, whether it's depressing -- the fact that you have an honest artist like Joe, is something that is very rare. And it's something you don't really see out there...Everybody is making ridiculously stupid music and I'm not gonna name names -- am I lying to you guys? I will be good to Joe, always. I am a very traditional woman. I take care of my man."
Somebody let us off this media circus at the next stop!!

Vivica Fox is 50 Cent's New Leading Lady

So I thought Vivica was over 50 Cent after he played her in public! Apparently whatever he was giving her is better than public humiliation because home girl is 50's next leading lady for his "Do You Think About Me" video. Even the name of the song sounds like he's further dissing her on the sly. SMH Desperation knows no bounds. Speaking of 50! Speaking of 50, guess who he decided to have as a guest at his BFF Floyd's Mayweather's home this past weekend? Check it after the jump!

Oprah Winfrey Publicly Apologizes To Robin Givens About Her Mike Tyson Interview.
Media giant Oprah Winfrey has publicly apologized to Robin Givens for showing some compassion to Mike Tyson. Givens now the spokesperson for the National Domestic Violence Hotline wrote a letter to Oprah on her distate for allowing Mike to recall the experience FROM HIS POIT OF VIEW and even drawing laughter from the crowd. Givens must have forgetten when she had a chance to tell the world her story and Tyson sat next to her silent like a well behaved child.
And of course Givens managed to land herself on Oprah to tell her side of sorrow and being in "disbelief" when the audience laughed when Tyson said he wanted to "sock her".
Here's a snippet of her conversation with Oprah:
"I wouldn't be honest if there wasn't a part of me that wanted you to go, when he said, 'Oh, I've socked her before...' 'That's not right.' And it wasn't right, it was painful.
"He can say whatever about me... but there are so many women like me, in my situation, that I just feel when there is this laughter, if you are in that situation out there, it kind of lightens it." Oprah responded by insisting her studio audience laughed because "they were uncomfortable" and because Tyson used the word "sock". She also told Givens, "I don't think that they were laughing at you, I think they were laughing at the term."
She then offered her guest a personal apology, stating, "In that moment, I will tell you, I felt that I should have said something. I felt that I should have said, 'Audience, that isn't funny...' so I regret it. "I would say to you and every woman, who has ever been hit, I feel that I did not handle that as well as I should have and I feel that I could have gone further and should have said more to clarify that what he was doing and what he was saying was wrong.
"So I apologise to you and I apologise to every woman who has ever been in that situation." A relieved Givens said, "Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
Damn homie, where's the compassion and forgiveness?? Can the man get over his past and move on? Why must he be persecuted at every turn for an error he has recognized and moved beyond. It's clear that Robin Givens is still harboring hate in her heart and needs to find forgiveness somewhere in it - yeah I said it. Check out Givens Begging For More Pity on Oprah.

Katt Williams Gets Kicked Out Of Atlanta Four Seasons Hotel
Comedian Katt Williams is in the news again, this time for getting kicked out of one of Atlanta's prestigious hotels, The Four Seasons. Katt bought a Penthouse at the hotel and also rented seven additional rooms for seven nights. Gee, I wonder what kind of party Katt had in mind.
Katt explains the incident to local news station 11Alive saying,
“I haven’t been here 72 hours and I’m being kicked out of the Four Seasons even though I paid up front and in cash. I don’t understand. I’m at the point now where I’m standing out here with millions of dollars in movies and TV specials sold and most of them done right here in Atlanta. And to be ceremoniously dismissed at a hotel is sad.”
All for causing a disturbance. After buying the penthouse and renting seven other rooms??? Either Katt is falling off his rockers or he needs to leave the ATL ASAP before he gets branded as the crazy black guy with millions that's no good anywhere he goes. I sure as hell hope he got his money back though!
