i agree, it was her decision, she knew things had not been finished and documents had not been signed, but i will say this having been another women once because i was the one pregnant and eventually had the baby, you have to rationalize with yourself, but then you realize how much respect this man just lost for you because you let him in knowing he was with someone else. once i said no, it was already to late because i was pregnant with a second child he stopped speaking to me for a very long time because i would not have an abortion because he didnt want to tell his girlfriend about the baby and of course the affair , but i have never fully regained my self-respect back after that, i degraded myself and getting pregnant a second time put the icing on the cake. but again it was a bad choice on my part, but everyone does not have those same feelings

Well I will say this much, we only can comment on what is released in the media. I will also point out that lets be real about this, if the marriage had no issues and both parties were happy then there is no reason for either parties to step outside of the relationship. Now another issue that seem to come up with the multiple interviews that was given by the exwife is that she seems to feel like she was intitled because they had been dealing with each other for so long, in other words she got content and too comfortable, and let her guard down. A marriage is hard work and even more work to keep it going. Now what role alicia actually played in causing a rift in this marriage we will never know. I will also say we don't know what was going on behind closed doors in there marriage either, if there is any truth to her having an issue with his first son, did she get pregnant so that she would feel that the other female didn't have something over her. Was he stepping out on the relationship before and it was not made a big deal of because he comes home to her at night? When you no longer are on the same page with things in life or shooting for the sky together marriage may need to be re-evaluated. People do fall out of love with each other or grow apart, does that mean because they got married they should just remain that way because they have kids? How do we know that nothing sexual even happen until Swizz and Mashonda were actually seperated from each other. I am a huge Alicia Keys fan, but I have to comment on this. I do not agree with Alicia's or Swizz's actions at all. Speaking as someone who has been stepped out on, I can sympathize with Mashonda and what she is going through. However, I do agree that more than Alicia, it was Swizzy's responsibility to respect his marriage. Not Alicia. If he wasn't happy within his marriage, he was going to cheat regardless. If it wasn't Alicia, it would have been someone else. Their was an article written in a black magazine a year a so ago (I can't remember the name) about them having marriage problems and Mashonda was thinking of filing for divorce back then. I do agree that what comes around, goes around. But i also believe taht it takes two to tango. They are both responsible for the break up of swizz marraige. I slightly agree...however; both Alicia and Swizz are responsible, not just a women. They BOTH know right from wrong. I'm pretty sure their parents instilled in them some values. The crazy thing is that people seem to forget the we are human and we do have emotions.Everyone seem to see the negativity of a situation without really knowing what exactly went down. I am not the one to judge them, BUT God hates a divorce!!! According to God's word they commited adultry. If his ex wife didnt cheat on him and he left her and started a new relationship. You don't know what you are talking about, you just act like you do and like you're so righteous. You were not there, none of us was. It is none of our business. You do not know whose fault it was. Just because he ended up with AK does not mean this was all her fault. He seems to have had many other judgement errors along the way. How do you know his ex wasn't doing the same thing? How do you know the marriage was not how they or she wanted it? How do you know he didn't just get tired of all that? I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.


Already I can hear some of you saying ” why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken”. Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.

If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would’ve handled things more carefully. I’m not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Looks like the issues surrounding this “love triangle” between Swizz Beatz, his soon-to-be ex wife (and mother of his child) Mashonda and his new woman, Alicia Keys, have reared their ugly head again! Though Beatz and Keys (that sounds funny together, haha!) have yet to publicly announce that they’re knocking boots, anybody who follows either of the two know what’s going down behind closed doors. They’re always at events together, send mushy messages to each other on Twitter and have even been spotted by the paparazzi enjoying an intimate evening.

Well now Mashonda’s fed up with the whole situation and has decided to put A. Keys on front street for allegedly assisting in the failure of her 5-year marriage. Here’s a message she sent to Alicia the other day on Twitter.

After having a great evening with my son and enjoying some fun twit chat, I decided to sign off and get some work done. However, a few hours later I was advised that I should check @aliciakeys twit page. I’ve never reached out to her on twitter before. I feel our issues are a lot more serious than a website conversation. Not to mention that I’ve reached out to her many times in the beginning of this whole thing, as any wife would do. Unfortunately, I never succeeded in getting a response. The 1st time I meet AK, my husband introduced us to each other at an event. ( I have no choice but to call him my husband, until he is not anymore) In the messages that I sent to her (AK), I made it very clear that on the contrary of what she might be hearing, I am still married to my husband, living with him and just had a child. Its been two years and I still have not received a response. What I do receive, is constant displays of selfishness and disconcern to me and my son.

I was a fan of AK’s last album, we were both signed to J Records and I always checked up on her projects. I sang her songs and admired her for creating Superwoman and Karma, I would never deny her, her talent. I believed in her until I found out she was possibly sleeping with my husband. The affair was denied by both, until it was finally admitted months later.


Already I can hear some of you saying ” why are u blaming her, You cant make someone leave their wife, You cant break something thats broken”. Well, my marriage was not broken, as far as I knew we were celebrating our sons birth and getting ready to celebrate our 5 year wedding anniversary . Call it blind love, whatever. I call it being a devoted wife.. As far as me blaming her and not blaming him, thats false. Me and my husband have worked out our differences. We are in a good place as people and as parents. I accept his choices and I am comfortable enough with myself to move on. I am so very blessed in many ways.

My concern with AK is no longer the fact that she assisted in destroying a family but that she has the audacity to make these selfish comments about love and wanting to be with someone, even after knowing their situation. How is this the same Superwoman that I sang out loud with in my truck? I ask myself sometimes.

If you are reading this Alicia, let me start by saying, you know what you did. You know the role you played and you know how you contributed to the ending of my marriage. You know that I asked you to step back and let me handle my family issues. Issues that you helped to create.
Im not saying everything was perfect all the time but no relationship is perfect. We made a vow to God and I believe you should have respected that, as a woman. I know you owe me or my son nothing but I just wish you would’ve handled things more carefully. I’m not judging you, I put you and the whole situation in the hands of God, the Higher Power. Just know that as a woman, I expected so much more from you. I never had intentions on reaching out to you this way but after reading your twits tonight, and the constant disregard, you left me no choice. I feel that after 1 and a half years of you hiding this affair and acting like it doesnt exist, that now is the time to confront it, since you talk so openly about it now

This is not a publicity stunt, I dont have a record coming out. I just need to close this chapter in my life and that means confronting our issues. There is a small child involved. His dad loves him to death and he wants to spend more time with him but hes afraid because he knows we don’t have a relationship. This is my main concern. My son NEEDS his dad and I NEED to be comfortable with you. For him!

I read your tweets tonight and I felt they were very insensitive. You have no idea how much pain I was caused because of this affair. Its baffling to me that you don’t understand what I might have gone through with this situation. I dont consider myself a victim anymore, Ive learned alot from this! Good for you, sister. Nice to know there are young people with some sense and morals. A huge problem in our society is disposability...everything is easily thrown away, including marriage. People have an erroneous notion of what love is. Love is not something you find (like a sock under the bed) or fall into (like a pit), but something you build and cultivate over time.
